The site is said to be early Christian and Byzantine and is located in the Anatolia mountain district in Turkiye (Turkey), between Karaman and Konya cities. It is reported that the ruins are from the medieval region of Lycaonia and is known for around fifty Byzantine church ruins in the Karadağ mountain range.
